If I look back at this day. I must say, it was one of the best days of my life.
This day, I met great musicians, got to record my own song and found myself in the presence of great music that has been made and still have to be created.
I’ve got to meet an amazing musician, Iris Hond. The way she plays the piano is something else. Because of her I could play the Steinway piano in studio one myself.
This was a dream for me to come true. So many famous musicians / legends have played this piano. And right now, I could play it myself.
I played my own song, ”Uncatchable”. I felt like this song was meant for that moment. I was reaching for my dream and getting there. (still can’t believe this really happened. I mean..Wisseloord studios is THE studio of my dreams and I was playing my own song there)
At this point, when I thought things couldn’t get any better. I was asked if I wanted to record my song. RIGHT NOW!This was the moment I got so freaking nervous. I can’t even explain what I was feeling.
Afterwards we listened the song in studio one, on the KEF speakers. This was honestly such an unbelievable experience.
